David Linscott's vast experience and unmatched record of success in every aspect of receivership, mediation, and mergers and acquisitions strengthens the Dottore team to an immeasurable degree. A graduate of Miami University, a Certified Public Accountant, and a Certified Insolvency and Reorganization Advisor, Mr. Linscott has over 15 years of experience with court appointed receiverships where he has managed ongoing business operations, performed fraud investigations, managed asset recovery and liquidations, and has successfully refinanced distressed businesses. He has also been instrumental in mediating business disputes including disputes in divorce proceedings.
As a partner in a regional accounting firm's Management Advisory Services Department, he directed the bankruptcy and reorganization practice group. David was a member of the Board of Trustees and on the servicing committee of Growth Capital Corporation, which sponsors the Small Business Administration - 504 Loan Program in northeastern Ohio. From 1997 - 2000, he served as a member of the Board of Directors and Treasurer of the Turnaround Management Association - Cleveland Chapter. Other civic and professional organizations include the Association of Insolvency Accountants, the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Ohio Venture Association, Turnaround Management Association, The Council of Smaller Enterprises (COSE), and the Commercial Finance Association.
